Important Announcement - Annabelle Inn closing through end of March

As an independent family-owned hotel, our ownership team has been closely following the coronavirus updates and recommendations.

Increasing numbers of medical and public health professionals have called for social distancing and avoiding public interactions in the past week, and public and private institutions around the country are temporarily closing due to the increasing risk of coronavirus. In recent days, Aspen Ski Company has temporarily closed all the local ski resorts, and many hotels in the area are also closing. While we had hoped to avoid this, when considering the health and safety of our amazing guests (that's you!) and dedicated staff we feel confident in our decision.

The Annabelle Inn will temporarily close our doors to guests for the remainder of March. We will closely watch credible news sources and will be sure to communicate any updates in the coming weeks. We will be waiving all cancellation fees during this time and providing full refunds if requested.

Taking care of our Incredible Staff

We consistently receive praise from loyal guests about our terrific staff of helpful front desk managers as well as our hardworking housecleaning staff. We love our team, and we're so grateful for each and every one of them for their dedication to making the Annabelle a beloved and welcoming getaway in Aspen. While none of us wanted to take this step, our staff is in support of the decision. We also want you to know that we are compensating all of our staff to ease the burden that this temporary closure will cause.

Let's all help "flatten the curve!"

There are so many emotions around this situation, and we recognize that you each individual may have a different reaction to this decision. Please trust that we are doing our very best to consider all factors, most notably the safety of our guests and staff, as well as the larger implications and our duty to help prevent the spread of the virus and be part of the attempt to "flatten the curve."

We will be in touch soon, and look forward to reopening our doors to all of our wonderful guests to enjoy being together in the comfort of our rustic mountain inn.

Thank you and take good care,

The Chookaszian Family
